Nursery 2018/19

Our Nursery class has places for 39 children. We share a lovely outdoor area with Reception where we have lots of fun! All of our activities are planned around the seven EYFS areas of learning and where possible we try to follow the children's interests.

Some of the activies we have enjoyed this term have been

Celebrating Divali in November. We all made a Diwa pot out of salt dough and then painted and decorated it. We all helped to make coconut sweets which tasted yummy.

we read the story Pumpkin Soup and made our own soup using vegetables grown in our school garden.

For Remembrance Day we made poppies. We were all very clever and cut out the petals ourselves.

We went on an Autumn walk to the woodland area to collect Autumn things for our table.

We looked at the vegetable garden and saw lots of things growing.

Every week we go to the sports court and use the PE equipment.

The following slideshow shows some of the activities taking place.
