I live in Meltham with my wife and we have three young daughters, two of whom are currently attending Meltham Moor Primary School. I took on a parent governor role in 2021 since I will have children at the school for the next ten or so years, and I feel a responsibility to do what I can in helping the school achieve its absolute best in that time.
I graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2009 with a Masters degree in mechanical engineering, and was elected as a Member of the Institude of Mechanical Engineers in 2018. I have been working at Cummins Turbo Technologies in Huddersfield for over ten years now, where I currently specialise in developing data analysis methods to support the product development process.
Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors, particularly walking and camping, and I am fond of a bit of DIY when time allows.
