Remote Learning
We’ll tackle any obstacle to ensure our pupils continue to learn and make progress. Working closely with families, we support children to learn from home during school closures or self isolation.
Remote Learning opportunities will be provided when:
1. The whole school is closed due to national/ local lockdown measures.
2. An individual is self-isolating because of a positive test within the household or is awaiting the results of a test;
3. A group of children are self-isolating because of a case of coronavirus in the bubble;
4. A whole bubble or cohort is self-isolating because of an outbreak of coronavirus.
Our remote learning opportunities comply with the expectations and principles outlined in the DFE document Guidance for Full Opening of Schools and the government directive which makes it a duty for schools to provide remote education.
